Hi CB,

Referring back to my earlier comment about comparing with known originals, these do not look like known originals. The absence of punctuation on the titles is a red flag and also the 3 are made exactly the same which is unusual. You're probably aware your three titles are representative of the rarest titles and this is also a concern?

Sorry I couldn't provide anymore info on these but they unlike other titles, original and repro, that I've seen.

Good collecting

Paul

Indeed I am aware of all the points you made. I think this about sums it up.
Cheers,

CB

Reproductions - Paul's point about punctuation (ie lack of full stops) is spot on.
Material also looks 'fuzzy' and embroidery quality to front 'poor'.

Great information guys, thanks.

I did search this form before my last additions to this post in an effort to find original examples of the "France" title, but could not find anything. Does anyone have an original they can post for reference? Preferably front and back.

Here are photos of the titles worn by a member of the 1BFM Commando (source book of Le Penven/Simonnet): F. Guezennec badge#177 was a member of the K Gun section.
It looks like another type of the "France' title was worn with a khaki background. Unfortunately, I don't have any photo of these.
