In the second image, the maroon patch with CBH embroidered is for the Cape Breton Highlanders, 5 Canadian Armoured Division, Second World War era.

Hi BB

I believe #18 - pair of eagles in wreaths - are Egyptian Police collar badges.

#23 I believe to be some form of commercial security in Africa or the Middle East - the exact ID eludes me at present.

#25 Is a cap badge from the Sharjah Police (now part of the UAE) - I would be interested should you decide to part with it.

#25 Is a Maldives National Defence Force cap badge.

Hope this helps

Graham

Hi Graham,

Many thanks for your response. As regards the UAE Police badge I will bear in mind what you have said. Yes I did wonder if number 23 was related to security.

Kind regards
Bill

Number 15 is a civilian livery badge. The torse is often removed to create a fake OTC design for Wrekin College.

6. 39th (City of London) Signal Regiment (V) sleeve badge.
7. German Bundeswehr Cap cockade above a Luftwaffe breast badge, worn over the right pocket.
12. Yorkshire and Northumberland Training Brigade.
13. Royal Signals Training Brigade.
14. Egyptian Artillery collar badge.
22. Oman Southern Regiment beret badge.
52. Queen's Gurkha Signals.
Some are too blurred to make out. Better images of 31, 32, 34, & 47, would help.

Marc

Thanks for that Alan. I had fallen into the trap of thinking that it was somehow related to Wrekin College. Really interesting info about the torse.

Thanks very much for your reply Marc. Sorry if some images are not that clear.
Number 31 has motto ubique. Number 32 has upper scroll with spes bona then 1857 and the royal artillery motto in latin.
