Default Not British

The badge shown was given to me today, along with a bag of rank, collar, shoulder and cap badges by an ex Squadron Sgt Major from the yeomanry. He had served in the Military Police then transferred to various yeomanry units including the Cheshire, North Irish Horse, and Ayrshire. He couldnt remember where this one had come from.
Grateful for a positive ID. Sorry the phone has screwed up the picture.

Hi Ian

Pretty sure it is Danish but I'm in the middle of a house move so cannot check my book.

All the best

Graham

Danish infantry, 6th Regiment, but I can't remember the full title and I don't know if it's beret, cap or collar.
Formed 1614, disbanded during the 1990's.

Default Danish badge

Dear all,
Thanks very much for the excellent replies above. Next time I see him I can tell him he acquired a Danish badge for the 6th Infantry Regiment and give him a potted history of it, although it is no longer around.
I now the Brits and Danes frequently work together as my brother was attached to the Danes in Afghan before doing a tour with a Brit battalion. He was with them when they suffered casualties from an IED ambush.
Thanks again for the quick and accurate identification of a badge that had me completely puzzled.
Ian H
