Default Greek Sacred Squadron award badge on ebay

Hi All,

I know the seller of this item doesn't have the best reputation on here and as I have never owned one of these, I would be grateful for your feedback on this item as it appears to be better than the usual fakes of this badge from photographs I have seen.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303506462279

Thanks, Jack.

A skilled forger proficient at his trade. I would not buy so much as a packet of Walkers crisps from this seller as they’d no doubt be knock offs or ‘enhanced’.

Compare the badge on offer to this one: https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...ghlight=Sacred the differences are stark - sword grip, wreath, lettering, raised reverse, pin etc.

This seller is also being discussed in this thread https://www.britishbadgeforum.com/fo...hlight=Vongold

Thanks Luke, as you say a good forger, the best policy then is never to buy anything from him, period.

Jack.

It really is so annoying that the sad fact is that people do buy from this seller and this is set to continue as long as he remains is business, it is a great shame, he and quite a number of other criminals have taken away that degree of confidence that used to exist in the marketplace by their utter greed and selfishness.
The only thing is to inform as many collectors as possible to simply avoid these people.
