Superb. I think these souvenirs in a tin are so evocative of a soldier's service.If the badges could speak they would have some tales to tell.

Thank you guys I do like this little lot that have been together for such a long time and yes if only they could talk.
Alan depending on the angle you view the badge from it looks.to be a 2 then from other angle a 3 I think thick paint is the issue here. Extra images of cap b |

It should be 1802 rather than 1902. 1802 was date of formation but 1902 ones were made possibly mistaking a Boer war date.
