I am pretty sure that a silver imp has never been worn by the royal Anglian Regt. But I do have a Lincolnshire acf band helmet plate with a imp

Forgot to post images, now done!

What I meant was prior to Royal Anglians, did any of the Rgts before amalgamations have the Imp as a talisman, good luck symbol?

The 4th Bn Lincolnshire Regiment wore the imp.
(One ref. being "Badges on Battledress" by Jon Mills).

I think these are souvenir key rings rather than Lincolnshire Regiment arm badges which were of yellow metal with lug fittings on the back.
There are threads on forum, I think, mentioning the Imp, the white metal ones possibly being tramways, boy scouts.....

Hi billy, those three imps are silver earrings/necklace/key did/charm bracelet types. Not military.

The Imp is a Lincolnshire thing.... I think it was the 4th Lincs Regt that wore it originally? The Imp comes from a "grotesque" in Lincolnshire Cathedral.
