Default Gun Armourer 1960s

Hi,
Grateful if someone is able to give me an idea of what the above badge would look like/show an example, i remember seeing the badge, coloured crown, crossed guns, maybe GA and or a star, on white linen? also an NP badge on an arm band, Navy Patrol or Navy Police NP with a possible coloured crown in the centre? thanks in advance - Mark

Mark,

Gunlayer Armourer

Lots of different rates but basically a pair of crossed guns with GA below.

It could have various combinations of Crown, and stars above and below depending on rate.

regards

Here's an example of your Naval Patrol armlet. These are fairly easy to get hold of. If you contact BJ (a forum member) at RBJ Militaria he is bound to have one.

My pleasure! BJ may even be able to help you with your trade badge. He has hundreds in stock.

I've just added some GA and QA badges in sealed pattern to my "Other Bits & Bobs" photo album, copied into the Sealed Patterns album. They're the Royal Marine versions on BD material.

Link (which probably won't work):
British & Commonwealth Military Badge Forum > All Albums > ianh67military's Profile > Albums > Other bits & bobs

edit, the link won't work...I.T. loves my inability to make it do what I want
