Default Friends of Cumbria’s Military Museum

I googled my way on to this, whilst looking for something else:

The Newsletter of the Friends of Cumbria’s Military Museum The Border Regiment, King’s Own Royal Border Regiment & Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment

http://btckstorage.blob.core.windows...1for%20Web.pdf

As this is issue 13, from the Autumn of 2011, it might pay those with an interest in the Border Regiment to search for earlier and later issues.

I would imagine a few mentions of the battalion that landed in Normandy by glider etc.

Thanks for the link. I believe the Border Regiment landed at Sicily and Arnhem.
