1st Canadian Forces Construction Engineering Unit. It's what used to be called Airfield Engineer Units. Army and Air Force construction engineers under Air Force control.

Cheers,
Dan.

1 CEU predates the (Wing) Airfield Engineer Squadrons and reserve Construction Engineer Flights which are sub-units of a reserve CE squadron.

I remember 1 CEU being in Winnipeg in the 1980s and then moving to Moncton. They are now named 1 Engineer Support Unit and are based in Kingston, Ontario.

this badge has been discussed previously.
