Default Gurkha brooch badge

Would this be a genuine Gurkha regimental item?

I am not a expert but it looks fine to me. Properly made by the Regimental/unit silversmith as a sweetheart brooch.

It is simply a sweetheart brooch, but, still a nice piece of jewellery.
