Default 13th18th Hussars officers Bullion KC

A 13th18th Hussars officers Bullion kings Crown Beret Badge were these worn during WW2.

A badge I have had for some time tucked away in my cavalry section.

Regards

Stephen

While it is certain that some of these bullion cavalry beret badges were worn during the war, my gut feeling is the majority are likely post war, as most that I have seen in photos or surviving uniform groupings etc. seem to indicate.
KC badges were not immediately replaced and continued in wear for years after 1953.

Many thanks CB,

Much less painful to wear on a Tank I speak from experience lugs or slider often bumped back into your forehead as you dropped in through the hatch or was making a brew (tank Rash)

An item I have had for some time.

A short lived badge with KC

Regards
Stephen
