Colonial Police Force (African).
I have a set of photographs of Colonial Africa in which a party of British Officials are visiting remote settlements. In one or two of the photographs a cap badge is visible, but not particularly clearly.
My first thoughts are that it may be the Gold Coast Police, but I am not sure. Any thoughts would be welcome. |

Not any of the Rhodesian or SA Forces.

Are they definitely in Africa? The close up of the sun helmet suggests (and I stress "suggests") the cap badge of the British North Borneo Police.
All the best Graham

I agree with Graham. British North Borneo Police. The centre of the badge appear to be a lion.
