Hi sorry for photographs quality in advance! This is Light Blue background Despatch Rider, why this colour background? Rear shows up straggly threads not like Pakistani copies! Any thoughts appreciated many thanks Billy

Main thing though is it Genuine? as for being RAF I have considered this but thought that would be wishful thinking! but what era? and where such badges British alone? Cheers billy

Hi Billy,

This looks to be a genuine example. All such DR patches are unofficial and were produced in quantity and a vast array of colors and designs. This example looks good, consistent with WWII period examples. Difficult to see the colour of this example but if light blue, one would presume RAF.

A better picture taken with Flash, you can see the wheel rim is a nice Golden colour! all the best billy
