Default UNKNOWN CLOTH BADGES.

good morning gents.
could i please ask if anyone out there has any idea what
formation`s etc that any of these 4 badges may belong to.
i have the COLE book on "formation badges of world war 2" but i can`t see them in that [unless it is a case of not seeing the wood for the trees].

XIV = West Yorkshire Regiment
Sword on shield = RAOC Emergency Reserve??
Horseshoe = ??? no nail holes ???
Yellow circle etc = Wessex Training Brigade 1950s - 1960s worn as a diamond

No RAOC Emergency Reserve is Vertical Red/Blue/Red with Yellow Sword as illustrated below.

A Yellow Sword on Red Shield with a Black Horiontal bar is 'Territorial Army Troops'

Thanks Mike, I was 50/50 on RAOC v TA (no books or collection being at hand) so put in the ?? to cover my fading memory!

hi gents.
many thanks for taking the time and trouble to help me out with the badges i could not identify , i am really chuffed with the west yorkshire badge as being a yorkie myself ,i only actually collect yorkshire items.
