A truly stunning collection Alan. Many fabulous badges, plates and accoutrements on show.

May I ask, what is the is the blackened plate with the gilded garter and is Exeter Volunteers VTC badge a good one? If so what fixings does it have please.

The large plate is tarnished silver and Is Royal Devon Yeomanry Cavalry, the Exeter Volunteer is a genuine one on loops N/S

Thanks Alan. Lovely plate.

You gave me a early morning brain teaser for a second with N/S loops reply.

Is one centre point on the crossed bullets and other on the scroll? Fascinated to know as I’ve only ever seen a front pic of one good badge in all these years.

Again thanks for showing! Amazing collection.

Thank you Alan. You have restored my hope in finding one, one day, maybe. Fascinating to see the reverse, it looks almost die cast. What a fine badge.

Just seen your latest addition of helmet plates! Wow. You’ve kept all this quite. A truly stunning collection and display.
