Default (Belgian) Technical Training School

Good morning,

I need your advice about this badge recently bought.
It seems to have been worn by RAF Belgian section during the war. Do you think it's a genuine one ?

Interesting badge

The pin on the back is not typical English produced item,so badge probably post WW2 produced in Europe I have seen fittings like this on German made items.

Many items made for allies in German factories 1946 onwards. So could date to this period.

My first thought on seeing the fitting was that it reminded me of those found on German NSDAP lapel badges.
