Default RAMC Medic Badge Question

Would the RAMC badge worn by a medic be the same for both the cap and the beret, or would they be different. I know the badge itself is the same, so am asking if there is a difference in size or some other manner?

Thank you,

Terry

Thank you Alan,

Silly as it might be, I am wanting to put together the badges worn by Molly Dawes in the series "Our Girl", and they show her wearing both caps - peaked cap and beret.

I think then for that time period an AA badge is all I need. I'll pick up a backing for it and I believe I have everything else save a set of collar dogs which I'm looking for. I did the same thing for Capt. Miller after seeing SPR, including a small piece of MoH ribbon.

Default RAMC

Terry,
You need the RAMC cap and collar badges with a silver snake. The gold snake versions are from the 1960s and early 1970s after which the design changed.

Also the badge is worn on a dull cherry backing, ovoid in shape on the beret (up to WO1).
