Default Canadian YMCA sweetheart pin

Was told that this is a sweetheart pin so thought I would share.
Not in great shape due to being buried in the ground and found with a metal detector.

It's not a sweetheart, it's numbered and has official on it so must be from the organisation itself, nice find.

Nothing to be sorry about and seems right place to me, I'm sure one of the Canadian collectors will pick it up and comment soon.

Ron L., Try writing to Head Office of YMCA Canada. It’s at 601-1867 Yonge St. Toronto, On. M4S 1Y5. You can google “History of YMCA Canada” There’s also a 4 Min video of their history including their work during WW1. Good luck. D.J.

Nice pin! Given the maker, I suspect that this is from the First War, and would have been worn by civilian staff who worked at the YMCA headquarters. Cheers,

Walt
