Default Perth Regt on offer

This is the oddest offering I have seen in some time. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Canada-WW2-C...item589a6e2ab6

Could it be a Piper's badge from the postwar era when the Perths became a Highland regt?

Default Fantasy piece

This badge is made up....cast one piece. I've never seen anything in pictures/dress regs etc that indicated a seperate badge for pipers. Also the centre piece is copied off the 1920 pattern badge not the 1948 highland version which is slightly different.

I've also researched the unit insignia in the post war period including all the original designs submitted for approval and nothing like this ever surfaced.

This reminds me of Bruce Lee's brother Ug. In case my reference is lost on some of you UGLY. This is borderline gruesome.
