Default Liverpool Pals Title

Evening,
Are there any opinions on this item : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293739740371
I personally wouldn't add it to my collection as I have a 20th already, but everyday is potentially a school day, so I wondered what people thought of it

It does look strangely crude, but I have never seen fake badges with those type of lugs.
Aside from that, I have never seen such a collection of heavily bulled badges as offered there!

I haven't seen an L'pool pals with those style lugs before. Could they be replacements? KLR will probably know.

Hi,
What made me query it is the number being a separate piece, found on Manchester Regiment ones but my Pals examples are all one piece- plus its the 2nd Pals title the seller has had this summer, I look all year and only see a couple

Badgeman sold dozens of T titles with coffin lugs.

Had always thought those lugs were pretty safe (generally speaking, I still think they are), but I guess nothing really is anymore.

I must admit I thought hex lugs were a sign of being ok but then the separate number threw me, no definitive answer then, maybe a variation?

I don't know much about STs - the site link has gone but they were described as crude..

I wonder if that goes for the cap badges with hexagonal loops - the back of the actual badge/s that I've seen are particularly crude.

Hi KLR,
I did try and find it in completed items to screen grab it but its not there.
It was crude/undefined on the rear with hex lugs. Personally I've never seen hex lugs on a Liverpool Pals title, but I asked about because I thought hex were ok. The '4' in the middle was a separate piece as opposed to all being stamped from one piece.
The seller has sold one already I believe over the summer, think it was 18th but that was crude although stamped in one piece

Pics, as said originally thought hex were ok, separate 4 is unusual but seen on Manchester ones

Just followed the link just look at all the scarce virtually unobtainable badges all listed at 99p and description Pre Owned.

That says it all thy have cottoned on and have adapted the production methods IMO

Regards

Stephen
