Default CWGC Cemetery - Reichswald

How did this unfortunate Tpr in 1 RGH come to be laid to rest in the CWGC Cemetery in the Reichswald - given that his unit did not serve outside UK in the Second World War. Was he perhaps an RAC Battle Casualty Replacement?
