Default WRAC officer bronze Kings crown cap badge

I have been trying to find a WRAC officer bronze Kings crown cap badge for sometime now, if they exist, which I think they do and I don't even have a image of one.
Could a member post a good picture, front & back of one please?

I think the cap badges differ in that the officers are bimetal rather than staybright, the lion being silver plated. I've not seem an entire bronze one, but I'm no expert !

Jerry,
I think it unlikely that a WRAC King's Crown (or Queen's Crown) cap badge in OSD bronze exists. As you know the ATS became the WRAC in 1949, at this time the War Office were intending to introduce No1 Dress Blues across the Army and Service Dress was to be phased out with Battle Dress as the day to day uniform. So there would be no need for OSD bronze badges and silver gilt patterns were introduced for officers, again across the Army.

Although the plan to issue No1 Dress Blues universally was dropped, except for a limited issue for the 1953 coronation, and Service Dress was restored / retained, in general OSD bronze badges disappeared in favour of silver gilt patterns.

However, never say never, it is always possible that a WRAC cap badge was painted bronze by somebody at some time to fill a perceived gap in a collection!

Tim

I have seen RAMC KC motto cap badges in bronze, but suspect again done by someone unofficially and probably for a collector... or a collector did it themselves. I suspect the same may be the case with your RADC badge.

I do not want to damage the badge by removing any bronze ,but appears to be one metal construction
One reason that I wish to find out if these ''exist '' is sometime in the future may produce a booklet on the insignia of the corps
