Default Hong Kong and Singapore RGA, Sierra Leone Coy of RGA

Hi All,

The British Army order of precedence according to King's Regs 1914 is as follows:
  • HH Cav
  • RHA
  • Cav of Line
  • RA
  • RE
  • RFC
  • Gds
  • Infantry of the Line
  • Local Coys of RA abroad
  • W India R
  • ASC
  • RAMC
  • AVC
  • R Malta Arty
  • W Afr R
  • The Departmental Corps
  • The Special Reserve
  • HAC
  • Miliita
  • TF
  • OTC

I have only been able to identify two Local Coys of RA abroad in 1914, the Hong Kong Singapore Battalion RGA and the Sierra Leone Coy of RGA.

Does anyone know what cap badges they would have worn? I've found an example of a shoulder title for the HKS RGA and a group photo of NCOs in the SL Coy RGA but no information about a cap badge. They were regular RA, I believe, and I wonder if they just wore the RA badge with their own shoulder titles.

Anyone know?

Thanks,

Tom
