Default Gurkha Para patch

Brought today at Purbrook - Gurkha Para patch white on a light blue.
Is this a "Company" patch and if so did each company have a different colour??

It's one of the Gurkha para battalions, I can't remember which one and don't know if the one you show is genuine.

Edit: 153rd Bn, pagri badge.

It looks very fresh to me - Im pretty sure it’s a modern reproduction rather than a WW2 period one.

Thanks for your replies. I have added 2 more pictures of the patch showing the back (blob on back is from a former fixing) and I have parted the "Hessen" backing to show a part of the back. I cannot remove anymore without causing damage. Is it possible that it has been in a collection for some time hence the "Fresh" look???

Could it be connected to the "GURKHA (INDEPENDENT) PARACHUTE COMPANY" ?
Quote:
The Gurkha Independent Parachute Company was raised in Malaya on 1 January 1963 to operate in an infantry role to secure an airfield and was deployed in Sarawak to train indigenous tribesmen as Border Scouts.

Also found this photo in old "153rd Gurkha Para Battalion badge" thread.

It was raised during WWII and became 2nd Bn Indian Parachute Regiment in 1945.

From memory I think this example looks the same as the one I have and which I have shown on the forum some years ago without foul being declared, but I don't know if they are good or bad.
