Would anybody be able to provide me with some dating information on this QC Canadian Scottish batch please?

I'm aware, but it is obviously post 1953 but I'm unsure whether it's of an earlier or more modern manufacture. I'm also presuming but it is an OR’s badge?

Hi ajc347, the badge is one of the recent issues. Note the finish and the fully plated lugs.
