Its more a gold gilt than the picture shows

Looks like standard tunic button by that maker, can you photo next to a ruler ?

I'd agree its probably a Greatcoat button. Occasionally slightly larger buttons were produced for Greatcoats, for example, I have four sizes of Air Transport Auxiliary buttons, approximately 12mm (cap), 17mm (tunic pocket), 23mm (tunic main) and 27mm (greatcoat).
