These Two Have Me Stumped
Good day folks
These two have me stumped so I'm assuming Canadian or Australian. 1SNR is maker marked JR Gaunt. The 40 is stamped but hard to make out. Looks like P Well something Ltd 1915 Can you assist? Many thanks

I have this described as Southern Nigeria Rgt WAFF 1906-14. They amalgamated in 1914 with the Northern Nigeria Rgt to become the Nigeria Rgt, still part of the West African Frontier Force. Alan

I would never have got Southern Nigeria Regiment. These are not my area of interest or collecting hence my ignorance so thanks everyone for your help. Off to the for sale section now.
