Default Unknown Enamel Pin

I believe this is English but not sure what it is.
Looks to be made from an old coin?

Military? Sweetheart?

Hi Vix,
Yes a British coin, a George IV sixpence I think and as such neither military or sweetheart.
It's just a coin that has been made into a decorative brooch and was probably worth more before it had this done to it. Nice enameling though.

It's either a tanner or a bob, it depends on the diameter. A tanner is 19mm across and a bob is 23mm across.

Quite commonly seen on late Georgian coins, I assume it must have been a fashion at the time .
