The LF wore a cloth beret badge and in 1958 wore the Brigade badge with regtl collars. So lots of collars worn between 1958-68 but the cap badge was only worn by the TA and even then the TA wore cloth beret badges.

My understanding was that cap badges were only worn on No2 dress caps so by the time the a/a was sealed in the mid 60s only the TA wore the badge. At that time most LF TA were issued only berets so cap badges in a.a were not needed by them. The band did retain peaked caps however.

The collars are very common due to the fact that they are the same as those worn by the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Its most likely that the majority of those on the market today are actually RWF rather than LF.
If your looking for LF a/a collars your best bet is to find a pair with a "D" shaped lug rather than the "U" shape. This is of course not a guarentee that they were LF issue.
