Default EBay Finds

I'm not usually one for "Look what I got!", but I did want to share my latest eBay acquisitions.
I recently purchased the 1st BC Regt (or 7th Bn CEF) officers' collars and the Irish Fusiliers officers' collars. The badges were all listed seperately (six lots) and were not in a category where you would expect to find them.
I ended up paying approx $5.00 for each of the Irish Fusiliers components and $55.00 each for the BC Regt collars. These were all from the same vendor.
The moral of the story? Know your craft. Buy the books and get a feel for your chosen field. That's not arrogance, that's learning about something that you are investing time, effort and money into.
And don't discount eBay. It is up to us, the buyers, to know our business.

Phil

Great score Phil, can you show us the backs of the Irish Fusiliers collars? I've never seen them in the flesh before/
