2nd East Ontario badge

Hi to all Canadian forum members,

I would be grateful for your thoughts on this badge. It is 1 7/8 inches high and 1 5/8 inches wide which I believe are the same measurements as the cap badge from the internet research that I have done. This badge however has the lugs positioned North and South which is more usually found on collar badges I believe.

Do the experienced Canadian collectors here think this is a cap or collar badge? I am based in the UK and collect mainly British badges so my knowledge of these is limited.

Hi;
No problem- this is a hat badge- this unit did not have miniatures of this hat badge as collars. N/S lugs not common, but not unusual- I have seen several examples with this arrangement.
