Afternoon all.

Know the topic has been covered many times but here is my set (all brass) being the cap badge and collars, also an image of them being worn.

Thanks Mike.

It's really the cap badge (if you haven't one) that is the rarer of the three and the one to look out for.

Kevin.

You only need one cap badge and a pair of collars for the set.

Some members are looking for these cap badges and collars, now wonder they are rare when some people have two sets ??, you hoarders eh (I know it’s just not you, someone over Newport way as well).

That chap in Newport is renowned for it. Let’s have word in his ear on Sunday.

C'mon I don't think he has 10+ copies of the same badge as someone (OSD Welsh), he does like his SWB/Mons glengarry's (claws up/down, tail in/out) mind you.

Hi all

My 16th Cardiff Battalion collar dogs.

I also have a copy of the 38th cloth shoulder patch.

My great uncle served with the 38th Welsh Division.

Hi Gerwyn,
As has already been pointed out yours are modern copies, they are not even reproductions as they are not from the same die. The originals look like the one on the left in this photo, whereas the copies like yours are the one on the right.
Hwyl,
Kevin

Hi Kevin

I can see the difference between mine, and the original one on the left.

I don't think there would have been more than one manufacturer, with one die cutter?, hence no variation in the die, because of the small amount needed for the 16th Cardiff Battalion

I just waned to know the weight of them, out of curiosity.

One of mine weighed 10g, the other 12g.

Regards
Gerwyn

Afternoon all.

Here we have another image of the collars being worn (thought would put image up before someone copies it from e:bay).
