RAOC with regimental number

Hi,

Last weekend I purchased a RAOC 1918 pattern OR cap badge
which has, what appears, to be a regimental number on the slider.

Number is 7599435.

Does any one know if it is possible to find out any info.
on the wearer from this number. I an guessing WW2 period.
