Liverpool Scottish embroidered shoulder strap
I recently found this embroidered on OD battle dress wool shoulder strap to the Liverpool Scottish. I'm guessing this is WW1 or earlier.

A very nice item.
It is from a full dress ( not battledress ) tunic pre 1908, the Liverpool Scottish full dress tunics were drab ( very like khaki ) and red. On an example I have the "8" and "V" have been unpicked and replaced with "T" and "10" when the 8th ( Scottish ) Volunteer Battalion, Kings Liverpool Regiment became the 10th ( Territorial ) Battalion in 1908. P.B.
