Default Ace of Spades formation sign

Ubervamp asked on the 20th what this sign was. John Player cigarette card series "Army Corps & Divisional Signs 1914-1918" shows that sign on card No. 76 as the 12th (Eastern) Division. this comprised newly recruited soldiers and it's infantry made up of the 35th, 36th and 37th brigades. In June of 1915 it joined the B.E.F. on the Western Front. Regards, D.J.

Yes Marc, I'm inept at figuring how to start a new thread. I posted there as that's where the first enquiry was. Thank you Bill for looking after it. To anyone else who may be interested, I have 150 of those cards, Divisional and Corps signs.
