Hello all

just wanted to share a further addition to my NZ badge collection, one that I have not seen too often so happy to have it as a new item.

The badge is a New Zealand Army 1937 Coronation, also does anyone know the number of NZ personnel that made up the New Zealand Army 1937 Coronation

Hi,
I believe 50 personnel made up the 1937 Coronation Contingent. Leslie Robert Stichbury was a senior member. I have his hat badge and collar badges.

thanks for the information and feedback, this a rare badge if only 50 personnel were at the coronation which would mean only 50 or so issued?

Hi,
I guess members of the Contingent may have been issued with more than one badge but Yes, it is a rare badge.
