I did look with a search engine but mostly found "foreign" MHS's: Military Historical Society of Australia, New Zealand Military Historical Society, Military Historical Society of Massachusetts etc. The only information that I found for THE Military Historical Society was given by the British Army & had a contact address c/o The National Army Museum.

David has provided details for the SAHR whose journal does not, in my experience, carry many articles about badges, it is mostly (very good) mil hist.
