Hope your well, Cap and collar 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards, ribbon is of regimental patten as worn as a stable belt but quite washed out this ribbon I have no idea of it’s use though,IMO badges are post WW2 cap badge lacks quality of an earlier badge though the collar was worn as a beret badge during WW2 And post war by Sgts and above. As it is the Regimental ribbon, maybe used on Panama or Straw hats and as the suspension for Regimental medals, sports and boxing etc.

As I said worn ww2 as beret badges and post war by Sgts and above I do not know exactly when below rank of Sgt returned to full size cap badges. Regards Stephen |
