Hope your well,
Cap and collar 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards, ribbon is of regimental patten as worn as a stable belt but quite washed out this ribbon I have no idea of it’s use though,IMO badges are post WW2 cap badge lacks quality of an earlier badge though the collar was worn as a beret badge during WW2 And post war by Sgts and above.

My old Regiment 82-85

As it is the Regimental ribbon, maybe used on Panama or Straw hats and as the suspension for Regimental medals, sports and boxing etc.

I read a wartime account of an former 4/7th Tpr and he recounted that the regiment bought collar badges for the soldiers in 1944. They were issued them on France.

As I said worn ww2 as beret badges and post war by Sgts and above I do not know exactly when below rank of Sgt returned to full size cap badges.
