If you slashed that it would cover your face.
Its a nice cap ,even if the peak is huge. The 50s style Officer caps did have rather large peaks. For a junior Officer as theres no silver on the peak which does help to disguise the size. |

Yes, is a big peak (it looks like a duck peak!) and the small size of the cap makes the peak even bigger...but still a nice cap for my British collection. Thanks for your opinion!!

I think the photos distort the peak somewhat and it is a small size cap, which accentuates the size of the peak. A good cap however.
The badge looks to be an OR WM, not silver. How is it attached? You should be able to see the fixture underneath the sweatband. CB

I am not sure. I kept the cap in my holidays home so I don't have it in my hands in this moment...but I think is attached by a slide, not lugged.
When I come back to my "museum" I Will take better pictures of the cap to see the peak, and look at the system of the badge and the color ... |

Yes, definitively the badge is attached by slider.
More pictures of the peak... IMG_20221029_114414.jpg IMG_20221029_114457.jpg IMG_20221029_114503.jpg IMG_20221029_114506.jpg IMG_20221029_114524.jpg |

You can easily remove the badge for inspection, but I am sure it is an OR WM badge. Officer's badges for this cap should be silver or silvered.

A common OR badge. A proper silver officer badge should not be too difficult to find and restore the cap correctly.
