Hi all, can I ask your opinions on some of these badges some am happy with but really bought for the bottom right badges, the :-

Connaught Rangers - Fake
Irish Guards - ? Don’t like the front of the badge, a Copy??
Irish Lights - Faked to death this one is made of Copper, is it any good?? Doubt it!
Kings County-Any good? why I took a punt! Doubt it!
Dublin County - Any good? Why I took a punt! again doubt that it is!
North Mayo - Any good? Why I took a punt! but again doubt it is!

It was hard to make out what was on offer due to the photo’s on Ebay and have time to return unless one of the above turns out to be a Gem! I already have the others and those other’s can be gap filler’s, many thanks in Advance Billy

Hi Billy, I am novice regarding cap badges, but I put a post on about Connaught Rangers badges just over a tear ago which shows things to look out for e.g. voided strings in the harp. Perhaps you could take a look at this post as it gives some useful info about these badges regarding authenticity. Mamy thanks and best regards.
