I am probably mistaken but isn't that an upside down photo of a Lewis Gunner sleeve badge?
Cheers Paul. |

Rob,
I recognise quite a few badges being sold by nanna3times as some of the badges I sold as a job lot to an oldish lady at the local Civic Hall table top sale about 3weeks ago. But she says in her description: I do not normally sell military badges, but when cleaning out my widowed aunt's house we found a large quantity in my uncles old bureau. All are genuine and had been in that bureau for a very long time. So it must be true, would anyone say anything on E bay that is not true, that would be fraud. Peter

I bet you're kicking yourself about letting that scarce 57th badge go, eh?

I reckon thats one for that suggestion made on the forum the other day - "Best descriptions with a nostalgia theme.". You could have made a fortune by asking on the forum "by the way, any idea of value??". This is better than looking at the daily daily Dilbert calendar... David David |

I had a interesting experience of some pewter buttons made for re-enactment...
that somehow ended up being dug up in excavations in Antigua |

I have had an interesting exchange with vendor of the scarce 57th Foot item:
Me to her: Dear nanna3times, Strange that badges like this were in your relatives bureau, I sold some badges just like the ones you are selling at the Nantwich Civic Hall table top sale about 3 weeks ago. Regards Probemil and her reply : Dear probemil, Yes and you charged too much for them too! - nanna3times What can you say to that ??? P.B.
