Default Collar dogs ID, please

Thomas White was KIA in 1917 whilst serving with the Leicestershire Regiment. A newspaper article about his death says he previously served for 12 years "with the Army" including in South Africa, and the medals on his chest look Boer War to me. Can anyone identify his Regiment from the photo, please?

Many thanks
STG

Thanks everyone.

I'm a volunteer researcher for the Royal Tigers' Association and, with thanks for your help, have created this profile for Tom White

Excellent STG!
I applaud volunteers like yourself, keeping the memory of these brave men alive.
A nice write up.

Cheers
