Thanks Alan I have looked at this on line from the Green Tiger magazine and it is a great display and record. The star badge of 1900 at 6 is one of my favourites in my Tigers album. Cheers Dean

It's certainly a useful publication. Whilst not being 100% guaranteed, chances are that the dates and IDs given in 1905, are far more likely to be accurate being written whilst actual wearers were still alive.

Indeed Alan,

I have discussed the article with 'Ticker' Riley a Tiger's enthusiast like me and we have cross checked the dates from as many sources as we can. I have constructed a rough timeline of what badge was worn when and the ones illustrated fit nicely respecting that there are many variants like a number of additional 1st VB 'pork pie' star badges, cheers Dean.
