Question Buttons Ltd Makers Mark, Royal Engineers Q/C.

Hi,

Sorry to keep on with a theme (RE) but I got this badge today. The maker mark says 'Buttons Ltd B'ham'.

I know there is an example of this mark in the MM albums, but there is no mention of it being on this particular badge. Also, as I am unsure of the period of use for this badge exactly, could it be helpful, to those of you who look into these things, as an aid to research?

Cheers

Phil

Phil, The badge is fine. I have one in my collection.

I am still after a JR GAUNT B'ham anod A/A with maker name on brass slider only and a RA HUGHES A/A-scarce

Thanks Jerry, appreciated.

I gave away a maker marked a/a RA, i'm hoping it wasn't Hughes now, I never took much notice back then. Chances are it wasn't.

i was trying to get my young cousins interested in the hobby, but no luck. They prefer football and music.

Cheers

Phil
