Default Toronto Scottish Shoulder Titles

Gents,

I got these titles a couple of weeks ago. Can anyone explain the difference in pattern? Both are heavy Chromed titles and I believe are fairly modern issue.
Thanks
Bill

Hi Bill, The Toronot Scottish titles in the left hand image are the DEU titles, issued in the 1990's on. The Toronto Scottish titles on the left are the older pattern authorized in 1923. There are some odd things currently happenning with dress, and the second pattern may have been acquired for wear on the DEU uniform. What type of fasteners are on the reverese?

Thanks Bill, the fasteners are both the pin types. I got these from the Toronto Scottish which led me to believe they are modern.

Hi Bill, With the pin backs, they are for the DEU.

Do you have any ideas of dates for the second type of title?
