The HAA regiments used (Mixed) in their title during the war as well. I don't know about searchlight regiments during the war, many of the SL batteries in Air Defence of Great Britain were entirely women. With apparently a carefully selected male soldier to crank the generator over for them at the site. Presumably the first use of eunuchs in the British Army!

Albeit the signs should only have been pairs of "right handers", not a lefty and a righty.

Is it some heraldic laws? So one badge is wrong Leigh?

The badge was only supposed to be the right handed version apparently (I have two or three of the left handed versions).
The latest edition of The Formation Sign (or the one before) makes mention of the left / right signs. |

Leigh, Are you saying that they only wore the bow and arrow on the right shoulder or just a right hand holding the bow? Just want to be sure I am following along.

On both shoulders but just the right handed badge, the one with the left hand holding the bow, the right hand holding the arrow.

Not only
66th (Gloucesters) Serachlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA) but also 67th (Welch Regiment) Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA) 68th (The Monmouthshire Regiment) Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery (TA) Additional remarks: Numbers higher then 200 where numbers used after the resurrection of the TA in 1947. Numbers between 562 and 607 perpetuated the Searchlight units with a number 535 lower. Thus e.g.
