Just remembered I had this little kepi also, this has a loop so possibly Part of a sweat heart broach the chin strap is brass and moves.

In answer to Alex three of these are commercially produced the others do appear to come under the trench art umbrella.

Thank you all for positive comments

Regards
Stephen

I believe the Italian sun helmet badge was sold to raise money for a turberculosis fund - 1930s? Nice group.

Giornata delle due croci translates to Day of the Two Crosses.

Found another badge with same motto and red crosses :

Metal pin dated 1938, 16th year of the Fascist Era. The Eagle-shaped brooch is entirely in aluminum and was propaganda for the "Day of the Two Crosses" for the Anti-tuberculosis Campaign of 1938. As can be seen from the photo, the two crosses are in red enamel embossed in the metal and the inscription "DAY OF THE TWO CROSSES

Default Cuirassier and Pickelhaube

My contribution two small helmet charms I estimate early C20th depicting a French Cuirassier Helmet and German Pickelhaube.

Keep safe one and all
