Default Long Range Desert Group Badge

A good LRDG badge for sale on eBay. I have spares of this type so as I am not bidding I thought forum members might be interested...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165134818883

I must add I have no involvement with the seller.

Keith

Pity the seller's mislaid the attribution, the medal box then.

Leigh - Avoid the £29.00 start badge it is a common fake.

I thought it must be, given the £600 price he's starting at for "the same" badge with a few £'s worth of unattributed campaign stars.
Not that he states it's a fake / repro.

I also note from the feedback, that it appears that this badge was previously sold by the seller (6 days ago). If the buyer feedback is to be believed - and I have reason to question it - the seller wanted more money for the badge following the closure of the previous auction.

Seller seems to be an absolute scrote.
Or is the buyer?

How do you misplace LRDG medal group paperwork mmmmmm I’m not saying the badge isn’t right but personally I wouldn’t touch this with a barge pole

Default Regrets...I've had a few.

Looking at these posts, I wish I still had the struck silver pin-backed one, with Egyptian marks, I owned that came along with its cast brass mate. They'd sold the medals but could find these badges at the time.

Purchased from a coin shop about 20 years back.....
