Default Is this lot pucker?

Guys,
up for auction in a few days are the following, and im thinking of having a dib at them.
I think some of them look good, but have been burnt before.
Whats the opinion of the many?
Thanks chaps.
An estimate is at £150, but thats just an estimate and in my experience i have seen lots at this place start well above the esitmate when it comes to collections of badges.
Cheers

Hi Jon
They mostly look good to me though the photos aren't close-ups. Just the 2 South African Constabulary badges are worth the reserve alone. If the 21st Lancers is good, and with 4 lugs I think it is, you'd be onto a winner. The 18H badge and 9L badges look good as well and they're gems.
Good luck. Cheers,
Alex

Go for them, the lugs look good, the selection is quite unusual and doesn't have the attributes of many 'collection' handed down by 'grandad'!

3rd VB Queens helmet plate, a rare looking KRRC as well as the above mentioned.

Now this has been highlighted I reckon it'll go to four figures, you should have kept it to yourself I'm afraid.

Cool Auction

I hope you will let us know how much this lot goes for, from what I have seen, it was a collection put together many years ago. Lots of good Victorian badges, my estimate £600+

£780 + fees. Not a bad price for a collector.

Jon
just a thought in my day pucker was something you did with your mouth. In the British and Indian Armies veryifiying an item, a statement to be genuine was always ' pukka'.
