Hello Brian
Nice collection thanks for posting. Regarding 1st image bottom row centre: Is that a gm./Brass NCO's Arm Badge? if so could you tell me what you know about it please. Regards Rob

That's much better, the regiment had an interesting time in the run up to Vereeniging, it seems very appropriate that Hew Fanshawe was subsequently appointed to command it afterwards.
